Eli Drake is best known for his time in Impact Wrestling under the ring name 'Eli Drake', where he is a former one-time Impact World Champion, TNA King of the Mountain Champion and Impact World Tag Team Champion with Scott Steiner.
He has won three Feast or Fired briefcases. Ricker appeared as a cast member on the TNT reality series The Hero, hosted by The Rock. On the October 18 episode of Impact Wrestling, Drake started a storyline where he sued Impact Wrestling management for "unsafe working environment" after the attack of Abyss at Bound for Glory.
The following week, Drake bullied Impact Wrestling commentator Don Callis and took his place for the rest of the show. On the November 8 episode of Impact Wrestling, Drake betrayed his lawyer Joseph Park after a low-blow. During a long interview with Wrestling Inc, Drake discussed his free agency: “I just can’t go ahead and give you everything right now.
I’ve had plenty of emails and booking requests come in. There are some cool things in the works, but nothing’s been inked yet and nothing’s set in stone. So you never know where I’ll pop up”. He also added: “I was one of the top paid guys at Impact, thankfully.
With that money, I invested a bunch of it and I’ve been taking classes on learning day trading with stocks. I was thinking about getting into real estate, but that’s a little bit too much of an investment right now. But I’ve been day trading stocks and I’ve been doing it pretty successfully”.
