Rhino reveals why he signed with Impact Wrestling again

Rhino is best known for his work in WWE and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). He also has worked for Ring of Honor (ROH), New Japan Pro-Wrestling and House of Hardcore. Rhyno is a two time world champion, having held the ECW World Heavyweight Championship and NWA World Heavyweight Championship once each, and was the final ECW World Heavyweight Champion within the original ECW promotion.

He is also a one-time WCW United States Champion, two-time ECW World Television Champion, three-time WWF Hardcore Champion, and a one-time and inaugural WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion with Heath Slater. He is currently signed to Impact Wrestling.

In a recent interview with The Mirror, the former WWE superstar revealed why he signed with Impact Wrestling again: “The main reason was that I wanted to be on the road and I knew Impact had big things coming along.

In the last couple of years, they have made some big gains. I am also able to do independent dates with this contract and that’s one thing I like to be able to do as I like looking at new talent and plus I can interact with the fans more.

I loved everything about being with WWE, but they have such a large roster which means they have to circulate the talent and so you are not on the road as much. I might make less, but I get to be on the road more, which is what I like”.
