Tessa Blanchard is not out of the woods yet! Controversies still surround her and she is now forced to defend herself. The made a comment on twitter last week: "Hey women, try supporting one another. Cool things happen."
Tessa then fought Sami Callihan at Impact Wrestling’s Hard to Kill. She beat him and is currently holding the Impact World Title. NWA World Champion, Allysin Kay, called out Tessa and implied that she is a racist: "Remember when you spat in a black woman's face and called her the N-word in Japan? Was that you 'supporting women'? The AUDACITY of this tweet."
Blanchard stated that the incident was not true and commented on it at The Hard to Kill PPV. Many other wrestlers joined Kay and stated that Tessa is actually a racist. Blanchard actually tried to defend herself and you can find her statement on Twitter.
She stated in her statement that she never used the N-word and that she is not a racist. She also stated that “Racism is not in” her heart. Kay responded to her statement: "You can try to babyface the fans, but the majority of our peers know Rosa's story is true and that's what matters.
I really hope that one day the other two witnesses of this incident come forward and further expose you as not only a racist, but a liar and an undeniable scumbag."
