*Spoiler* Io Shirai and Zoey Stark are the No. 1 contenders

We immediately start in fourth with a match useful to decree the next challengers of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. TAG MATCH Moon & Shotzi vs Raquel & Kai vs Shirai & Stark We see all 3 teams fighting to the last with Shirai showing off her acrobatic skills with a moonsault springboard out of the ring with which she takes down Gonzalez and Kai.

3 o'clock is then joined by Shotzi's suicide dive followed in turn by a Moon flight. To conclude it all, there is also a crossbody from the top of the Stark pole. The match continues with the athletes who, once back in the ring, begin an exchange of final maneuvers.

Stark takes Shotzi down, Moon eclipses Stark and is then shot down by Kai. Last comes the Shirai who, after exiting a roll-up, knocks out the Kai and then performs her classic moonsault from the top of the stake. The referee can only count to 3.

Result: Io Shirai and Zoey Stark pinned them to win the chance to challenge Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell in a match valid for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. We are now catapulted into backstage where we see the hint of a fight between Johnny Gargano and NXT Champion Karrion Kross, which is however promptly interrupted by security.

NXT: Io Shirai and Zoey Stark have good chemistry

Gonzalez showed off her incredible strength, while Kai proved to be the weak link for the team again. NXT now needs to find a challenger for Gonzalez soon to make her title reign more memorable.

Io Shirai and Zoey Stark have good chemistry and can do well in the tag team division. The story is there, and NXT could give them a chance to carry the title for some time. The promo of the next NXT Breakout Tournament is then aired, which will start on July 13th.

Among the protagonists, we find Cameron Grimes, Isaiah Scott, Dexter Lumis, Joaquin Wild, Angel Garza and Bronson Reed. Karrion Kross then decides to show up in the ring and microphone to mana, calls out to Johnny Gargano. The intent is to make him understand what the leader of The Way is up against.

Gargano does not wait and reaches the champion. Kross remains in the middle of the ring listening to the words of the former NXT North American Champion who simply accuses him of being in his place and that he should be there in the middle of the ring with the belt around his waist.

Austin Theory emerges from nowhere behind the champion. The two try to put the champion in difficulty, but he gets rid of both in the blink of an eye. Kross is ready to exceed the limit by throwing the steel steps into Gargano before being stopped by security.

Gargano then takes advantage of the situation to hit the champion with a superkick and then run away. We are then catapulted into the parking lot where we see Kross ready to leave the arena in the car before being attacked again first by Theory who is immediately knocked out, then by Gargano.

The former NXT Champion manages to repeatedly hit the current champion with the car door and, once convinced that he had the upper hand, decides to turn to the camera to send a message. Behind him, however, a revived Karrion Kross imprisons him in the Kross Jacket following which Gargano collapses in the middle of the meaningless parking lot. Kross finally manages to leave the arena as Joe drags Gargano into the arena.
