NXT has now fully established itself as a third WWE brand, almost perfectly on par with the other two in the federation, Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown. While for many NXT is still the "development sector" of the Stamford company, for many other fans, NXT is instead the only young and unpredictable show in the federation, with WWE Universe fans calling themselves "NXT Universe" and following.
almost only the exploits of the yellow brand of Vince McMahon's wrestling company. In recent weeks, however, it would seem that WWE and its Chairman, Vince McMahon first and foremost, want to make some truly drastic changes to the Tuesday night show that airs on USA Network, such as Monday Night Raw, with recent releases of several important characters of the yellow brand, such as Mercedes Martinez, Bobby Fish and Bronson Reed, who would have been only the beginning of this great change that will come in the youngest WWE show.
Has WWE found the new logo for NXT yet?
Over the past few weeks, numerous reports have surfaced regarding all the changes Vince McMahon wanted to make to his NXT, including brand new lighting sets in the Orlando CWC as NXT always looks a little too dark from home or a new logo or a new format to be presented on USA Network TV screens.
Apparently, the new logo may have already been revealed by the famous American rapper Wale, a well-known fan of pro-wrestling and WWE in general, who in a video posted in one of his latest tweets, showed a new, particular and colorful NXT logo, which at this point could easily have been a spoiler and thus replace the old "granite" style of the WWE yellow show.
As you can see for yourself from the video posted by the rapper and then also from a photo taken from the same video, this could soon be the new NXT logo, which should be part of the historic change that will come shortly, perhaps as early as next week.
Regarding the all-important 18-49 demo, WWE NXT also saw a rise from last week from 0.15 to 0.16. With viewership and demo both up, it's a sign that there are certainly fans out there who enjoy Triple H's vision of the black and gold brand and don't want to see it change.
Last week, WWE NXT took the 31st on cable for Wednesday. This time around, they were in the 27th spot on the cable. This has to be encouraging for NXT to see the numbers rise despite spoilers for the show being all over the internet.
