NXT 2.0: Tommaso Ciampa issues a warning

Hello everyone and welcome to the usual NXT 2.0 appointment. The evening starts in style with the first match involving the NXT Champion. SINGLE MATCH: Tommaso Ciampa vs Grayson Waller; Excellent performance by Grayson who really tries them all, even coming one step away from victory with his tested elbow drop from the second rope which, however, is only followed by a count of 2.

Waller does not give up and even engages in a flight between the ropes with which he knocks down the champion and then sends him back to the ring where he tries to knock him down without succeeding and even ends up being shot down by a DDT resting on the ropes.

Grayson Waller vs. Tommaso Ciampa

Grayson Waller kicked off WWE NXT 2.0 this week. He compared himself to John Cena and The Rock before Tommaso Ciampa came out to shut down the newcomer. The two men began their match with some standard technical offense as The Blackheart took control early.

Ciampa used his superior strength to overpower Waller and sent him over to the announce table. Ciampa then decides that the time has come to end the meeting and scores the Fairy Tale Ending. Result: pinfall victory for NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa.

Ciampa spoke about his recovery, and his prospects in the WWE, now that he was out of recovery. “Yeah, well I’m a year and a half out of surgery now. So I feel my stance getting slightly more laid back on it. “But it’s one of those things where like, I don’t want to get too comfortable with ‘Oh, my neck feels great.’ Because I just know it, you’re one mistake away, you’re one bump away from it not feeling great.

I’ve been on a limited schedule. Right now I feel great, but again, I just haven’t taken on a very hard load. So I try not to fool myself. It’s one of those like, ‘Hey, I probably can’t do 250 days a year.

Would I feel great if I did 250? Probably not,” admits Ciampa. The former NXT Champion also gave fans some details of his potential move to the main roster. “If somebody came to me with the right offer of saying, ‘We’re gonna limit your schedule,’ anything’s possible.

It’s literally just for me, the longevity of my career,” he claims. Waller was great in the contest and took the NXT Champion to the edge. Ciampa is known for giving newer superstars good matches, and he did the same on Tuesday night. More matches like these will help NXT 2.0 build new superstars quickly.
