NXT 2.0: Carmelo Hayes defended his title

Now it's time for the men's tag team category. TAG MATCH: Gryzzled Young Veterans vs Briggs & Jensen; we are offered a very interesting match with Briggs and Jensen who prove to be perfectly in tune. The situation is reversed with the entry of Gibson who manages to shift the balance in favor of his team.

Once Drake returns, however, the situation is reversed again with Briggs and Jensen who literally do good and bad weather. During the contest, Drake appears to have suffered a knee injury forcing the referee to temporarily interrupt the match.

Pete Dunne and Johnny Gargano challenged Carmelo Hayes in a triple threat match on WWE NXT 2.0. The North American Champion demanded respect and was confident that he would pick up the win over the veterans.

Carmelo Hayes impressed

Carmelo Hayes impressed early and kept both Gargano and Dunne at bay for some time.

Johnny Wrestling fought back and wiped out both his opponents with some good moves. Gibson tries to exploit the situation by attacking his opponents from behind but being thrown out of the ring. We then find out that obviously Drake was faking it and Briggs and Jensen don't think twice about taking him down with their combined maneuver.

Result: Briggs and Jensen pinned to victory. End of the second part. The Bruiserweight hit the Bitter End on the second attempt and nearly picked up the win before Tony D'Angelo ran in to pull Dunne out of the ring. Inside the ring, Melo hit his finisher to pin Gargano and pick up the win.
