It was also interesting to see how Jade wasn’t the one who was pinned in the contest.
She had a lot of in-ring time with Choo, which was good. Big Mami Cool will likely get back at Toxic Attraction and possibly become Mandy Rose’s next challenger. Everything is in the hands of Cora Jade now that she manages to stand up to her opponents until she is forced to relinquish Raquel.
The former NXT Women 's Champion tries to score the Chingona Bomb but the pain in her leg is too strong and does not end up collapsing to the mat with Dakota taking the opportunity to hit her with a DDT. Kai and Choo then hit the mark with combined maneuvers that give them the chance to land the final pin.
Result: victory by pinfall for Dakota Kai and Wandy Choo who took first place in the final of the Women’s Dusty Classic. Let's now move on to the second match which is still all female. Soon after Toxic Attraction challenged Io Shirai and Zoey Stark, the NXT Women’s Tag Team champions were seen in an interview backstage.
When asked about how they felt about this challenge, Io Shirai immediately accepted the challenge. But Io Shirai’s tag team partner seemed unimpressed by her decision. Zoey Stark told Shirai that she feels that there must be a discussion between the two before agreeing to the challenge.
However, Stark ultimately agreed to the challenge. Even the official Twitter handle of WWE NXT made a tweet, making the match official.
