NXT: Von Wagner is increasingly scary

Kai is promptly overwhelmed by the Toxic numerical superiority before being rescued by Raquel Gonzalez who cleans up the ring in no time at all. Raquel and Dakota, under the pressure of the public, then decide to make peace by hugging in the center of the ring and then lift to the sky one of the couple belts abandoned by Toxic.

Now it's time for the classic nonsense filler match. The match went outside early on and Von Wagner was sent into the steel steps before he sent the newcomer back in the ring. Wagner got a big suplex before Bodhi Hayward got a sunset flip for a near fall.

SINGLES MATCH: Von Wagner vs Bodhi Hayward; the match literally has nothing to tell and sees Wagner dominate far and wide, obtaining a clear and clean victory.

Result: Von Wagner pinch victory who decides to attack and knock out the Jacket Time after the match.

End of the second part. After the match, Wagner attacked Jacket Time before tossing Jiro in the ring and hitting him with the Angle Slam. He then took off Jiro's jacket and ripped it in two before walking out. Von Wagner made a surprise appearance during tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

The NXT superstar was involved in a backstage segment with Sami Zayn and Adam Pearce. Speaking of Sami Zayn, his loss to Jeff Hardy made him lose his spot on Team SmackDown, keeping the doors open for that fifth spot in Team SmackDown.

Previously, a WWE source told WrestlingNews.co that Vince McMahon sees Von Wagner as a future WrestleMania main eventer. Not only Vince, even former WWE superstar Braun Strowman, posted an Instagram story praising Von Wagner.

Braun Strowman has been away from the WWE ring for quite some time now. WWE released the former WWE Universal Champion earlier this year. Strowman was last seen in the WWE at WrestleMania Backlash where he battled Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship.

Strowman failed to win that match and left WWE soon after that. But Braun Strowman still monitors WWE’s productions. Wagner signed with WWE in March 2019. He has trained at the Performance Center since then. Previously, Von Wagner played college football at the University of Central Florida.

Von Wagner even appeared on WWE SmackDown in April 2020; he took on ‘ The Celtic Warrior ‘ Sheamus. Though Wagner lost the match, he showed glimpses of his talent during his battle.
