NXT: Roderick Strong shocked everyone

It is now the turn of one of the members of the Uso familiar. SINGLES MATCH: Solo Sikoa vs Trick Williams; We are offered a pleasant match conducted mainly by Sikoa. Trick manages, albeit with difficulty, to keep up with his opponent managing to put him in serious difficulty even attempting a pin after a neckbreaker.

Sikoa manages to regain the reins of the match by scoring the Samoan drop and splash combo which is followed by the definitive pin. Result: Solo Sikoa wins by pinching. Roderick Strong appeared on WWE NXT to give a pep talk to Diamond Mine.

He wanted to see The Creed Brothers get back on a winning streak. He declared that he had picked a world-class tag team for the duo to face next week. The team in question turned out to be The Viking Raiders.

Roderick Strong appeared on WWE NXT

In a backstage segment on NXT this week, William Regal entered his office to find Roderick Strong waiting there alongside his wife, Marina Shafir.

Mr. Regal apologized for being late, citing the meeting was pre-planned. Strong broke the silence by handing some papers to Mr. Regal and said, “Done”. It’s great to see Erik & Ivar back on the brand. They were dominant during the initial NXT run that saw them win the tag team championships.

WWE is excellently bringing back top superstars from the main roster to prepare the new batches in NXT. With the main roster tag team championships getting unified, it’s a good idea to have Erik and Ivar compete on the brand for some time and give The Creed Brothers a good rub.

Post-match Sikoa is joined by North American Champion Cameron Grimes with whom he has a verbal exchange before being abruptly interrupted by Carmelo Hayes. Sikoa is not there and decides to hit Carmelo with a superkick with which, however, she ends up knocking down poor Grimes.

The three will face off next week in a North American Championship triple threat match. This is not a sudden move from Roderick Strong, who hinted at leaving NXT a couple of weeks ago. If you don’t remember, let us refresh your memory.

Two weeks ago, Roderick Strong defeated Cameron Grimes on NXT. In a backstage interview following the match, he was asked what’s next for him, and that’s when he said he was done. Now that Roddy has left the black and gold brand, it’s highly possible we could see him appear on Raw or SmackDown in the weeks to come.

Daniel Bryan and Roderick Strong go back a long way to their ROH days, so a program between the two on SmackDown would be a perfect one to catapult Strong on the main roster.
