NXT: Giovanni Vinci scored a nice victory

Let's now move on to the next match previously sanctioned during the episode. TAG MATCH: Hayes & Williams vs Stacks & Two Dimes; We are witnessing a pleasant match with D'Angelo's henchmen who manage to put their opponents in serious difficulty, specifically Williams.

Everything changes with the entry of Hayes who takes the reins of the match in favor of his team before being distracted by D'Angelo who allows Two Dimes and Stacks to get back in control. We got the debut of Giovanni Vinci and he was facing Guru Raaj in his first match on NXT.

Vinci got some big moves early on and lifted him on his shoulders, but Raaj reversed the move and tried to make his comeback.

Giovanni Vinci def. Guru Raaj

Giovanni Vinci no-sold the strikes from the Indian and took him down once more with a springboard move.

The newcomer blocked a big boot and hit a big powerbomb before securing his first victory on NXT. Hayes, however, manages to avoid the final maneuver of D'Angelo's henchmen, effectively creating an avalanche effect with Wilde who tries to help his cronies but ends up only making things worse since he knocks down one of them with an over-the-rope crossbody allowing Williams to take over from Hayes who takes the opportunity to score with the diving leg drop.

Result: Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams win by pinfall. So here we are at the last match of the evening. After the event, Fish and Strong’s medical conditions were revealed. As reported by NXT Injury Reports, Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong were evaluated and declared “not clear”.

Both of them suffered multiple injuries and are “week to week”. They will miss two weeks of in-ring action, including next week’s NXT Halloween Havoc. Ahead of their match, Fish and Roderick were both laid out by a mystery attacker.

The only member left of the Undisputed Era, Kyle O’Reilly, too, refused to wrestle on behalf of either and chose Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch to face the NXT tag team champions instead. Leon Ruff and Damien Priest squared off against Legado del Fantasma’s Raul Mendoza and NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar.

Priest hit Mendoza with the Reckoning, and Ruff connected with a big splash from the top rope for the win. Ruff, Priest and Johnny Gargano will face off in a triple threat match for the North American Championship at Takeover. The former North American Champion was on commentary for the tag team match.
