NXT: Madusa appeared by surprise

Alundra Blayze, or Madusa, as you want to call her, based on her stint in WWF or WCW, was a Superstar who was part of several companies, such as AWA and All Japan Pro Wrestling, before landing in WWF and finally in WCW. In 2015, the athlete was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, after years in which she had been banned from the WWE, establishing herself even more as one of the wrestlers who made history for the women's division in the discipline.

In her career, she has won the Women 's Championship three times and played some excellent matches, such as the one against Bull Nakano. She's also famous for an absurd and truly rebellious gesture: in fact during the transition from WWF to WCW, in one segment, she took the WWF Women's Championship by throwing it into a garbage can, all completely live on TV, which had brought Vince McMahon to the famous Montreal Screwjob, because he didn't want Bret Hart to end up with the WWF world title then in his possession.

Madusa appeared on NXT

During the last episode of NXT aired tonight for WWE, the company wanted to recall its Hall of Famer Madusa to stage an angle with a title up for grabs. The legendary athlete appeared in a segment with Roxanne Perez, announcing a fatal Four-Way elimination tag team match to determine the new tag team champions of the third WWE brand.

Madusa had already replied to Cora Jade a few days ago after the girl had trashed her title, just like Madusa did in WCW. By thus making her turn heel, Cora had thrown her title away, turning her back on partner Roxanne Perez.

This week also Perez wanted to make her title vacant, with the new champions who will be crowned thanks to next week's fatal 4 way between Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter and Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz, in one of the most anticipated matches with the young athletes of the last period at NXT.

During her recent appearance on The Wrestling Inc. Daily, Madusa said she was scared to meet the WWE Chairman as she didn't know what to expect. “I was scared sh*tless actually,” Madusa admitted. “I didn’t know what to expect, I hadn’t seen Vince in 20 years or whatever, I didn’t know what to expect.

But the initial coming in, meeting everybody, seeing everyone, doing everything, and then that initial hello to Vince was just overwhelmingly wonderful.
