Will Von Wagner make the main roster?

As we saw on Saturday night at WWE NXT Deadline, the new NXT ppv, the New Day sensationally won the tag team titles of the third roster of the McMahon family, beating the duo formed by the Pretty Deadly, former tag team champions.

To make a real record with the McMahon company, however, Kofi Kingston thought about it, who tonight wrote his name on the company's golden books, becoming the Superstar with the highest number of tag team titles won in the history of the federation.

Very often, we have seen NXT talents being called up to the main roster, on Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown, with such athletes who have thus made their big leap into the company, becoming increasingly important Superstars for the fans and the McMahon.

Almost all of today's Raw and Smackdown main eventers come from NXT, such as Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and many others, while instead in the last two years, we have seen the opposite journey of many Superstars of the main roster, who have instead returned to NXT, to stage their new storylines, as happened to Deadline with the New Day.

Von Wagner has been trained by Bloom, Ken Kennedy, and Brad Rheingans. Before entering the professional wrestling business, he used to play college football at the University of Central Florida. When WWE was forced to relocate to the Performance Center last year, it gave the new recruits an opportunity to tussle with experienced main-roster talent.

New details on Von Wagner

One of the last names rumored by WWE as a possible new character on the main roster is Von Wagner, a massive NXT athlete, who in recent weeks has seen very little in the rings of the black and gold show managed by HBK, with the very tall wrestler in fact, he was evaluated by the company's management as a possible new addition to Raw or Smackdown.

In the last few hours, the well-known Fightful Select podcast has in fact reported: "In addition, we heard that Von Wagner's name had been designated as one of the possible names to be called to the main roster. We haven't heard when this call will definitely come, but the company is already showcasing it at Main Event and this has been going on since last year's calls.

We have also been told that there will be a more stable stream of NXT talent transitioning to the main roster moving forward and the lengthy talent assessment period is now expected to be a few years shorter."
