Backstage details on Cameron Grimes
Backstage details on Cameron Grimes

In recent weeks there has been a lot of talk about some Superstars who could make the famous "quality leap" from the NXT rings to those of the main roster, to Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown. After years of apprenticeship, therefore, some of the young talents strongly desired by Triple H in WWE could then enter the federation's top floors.

If in the last few weeks there has been a lot of talk about Cameron Grimes, as the next athlete to land on the main roster, in the last few hours there has instead been talk of Zoey Stark, former NXT tag team champion, paired with Io Shirai, before her landing in Raw.

According to the well-known site PW Insider, WWE would have a good reason to move the athlete on the road with the main roster, so much so that it has already added her to several dark matches not captured by the company's cameras and also to house shows.

In fact, the WWE officials want to see how Zoey moves in front of a very large audience like that of the main roster. In addition to Stark's name, those of Pretty Deadly, former NXT pair champions and always that of Grimes, still not added to the main roster, would have been made.

Cameron Grimes has suddenly disappeared

In the last period, apparently, the face of Cameron Grimes would have disappeared into thin air, with the problems behind his disappearance, which do not seem to be easily resolved.

As stated in the last few hours by Dave Meltzer, of the Wrestling Observer Radio Show, with these words that were also reported by the WrestlingNews website, it seems that Grimes has been stuck in a real limbo between NXT and the main roster.

As revealed a few weeks ago, with the advent of Triple H as head of the creative team, NXT Superstars finished their duties on the yellow roster weeks before the main roster call, so as not to leave anything unfinished in the third brand, such as instead it happened with Vince McMahon until last year.

Grimes, at the moment, would therefore be blocked without any feud or storyline at NXT, awaiting the call for the main roster, which however has not yet arrived. As expected, the former WWE writer didn't mince words while sharing his honest assessment of Grimes, as you can view below on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW: "I'm seeing for the first time in my life, Cameron Grimes.

I swear to god, I'm watching this guy; I don't know who this guy is, but I know I saw better talent Saturday on a freaking indie show. I did! I actually did; I saw better people than this guy. How is this guy on TV? I don't care who he was."
