In a shocking turn of events, NXT fans were once again graced with the long-lost Wes Lee returning to their television screens, much earlier than anticipated. Lee went from sidelined with a back injury to surgery on the horizon, but he made his way back in during the electrifying NXT Spring Breakin' event.

The soap opera began in December after Lee, carrying a back condition, declared himself out of the ring, and left fans to wonder if his career was over. That had the reckoning of how long Lee would be out at between 8 and 12 months.

It was just a year after Lee had taken his last break due to the defeat in his bout by Ilja Dragunov.

Lee's Dramatic NXT Return

However, fate had a funny way of working with and through the determined competitor. Against all odds, it's Wes Lee appearing from the shadows of NXT Spring Breakin' Night Two, crashing the party.

All was about to get set in one of the most epic showdowns. Lee made his dramatic entrance from the crowd and stepped right up to the reigning NXT North American Champion, Oba Femi, to set the arena alight with their back-and-forth of scathing words.

The WWE Universe went wild in celebration as Lee looked to re-enter as champion of the world, breathing new life into the North American Title division. The night was not over as Lee was surrounded by contenders in the form of Josh Briggs and Ivar, fighting for an opportunity at Femi's title.

Not to be one-upped by the competition, Lee declared his spot in the championship scene and possibly at the throne. As the landscape of NXT continues to shake, the road to WWE gold becomes tight with drama and intensity. With Wes Lee on the road to redemption, all fans can expect is a treat full of thrill, and turns await them at every corner.

Be sure to stick around because the battle for the crown is about to go down, history will be made, and it's only the best from NXT.
