On the June 18, 2024 episode of WWE NXT, we saw several athletes battle each other in a 25-Man Battle Royal opening the show, with the winner earning a title shot at the NXT Championship currently held by Trick Williams. In addition to some surprises from WWE athletes such as Tyler Bate, Angel, Humberto, Dragon Lee and Apollo Crews, they also made their entrance two TNA athletes: we’re talking about Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian, thus continuing the great collaboration created through Jordynne Grace between the two federations.

Unfortunately though, the iconic Joe Hendry was eliminated pretty quickly, going backstage angry to pick on Shawn Michaels who was handling everything from Gorilla Position, saying that he can show up anywhere and in any show, just say his name, with HBK watching him walk away saying: "I believe".

Big surprises during NXT

On the occasion of WWE NXT Battleground staged last weekend, Roxanne Perez successfully defended her NXT Women’s Championship in a very nice match with TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace, taking home once again that belt that he so much wanted to get back for a second run as champion.

In a recent interview on our website with Drew McIntyre, the Scottish athlete talked about his compatriot and praised him: "I believe in Joe Hendry. You really do it. He’s doing great and I’m very, very proud of him, especially, you know, for putting the song so high on the charts and causing as much fuss as he did.

He deserved a great opportunity, and fortunately he was able to show off at IMPACT and I’m sure he will continue to move forward and make his rise. The sky is the limit. He can do everything. He has a lot of talent in the ring and of course in the microphone.

But the videos are superior, and I’m sure fans of this channel have seen the video 'I’m Drew' for the melody of [Eiffel 65’s] 'I’m Blue' If you haven’t done it yet, check it out." After this beautiful eulogy, TNA’s own wrestler responded to Drew McIntyre’s comments, writing on his X account: "You have no idea how much this means to me. Drew McIntyre is the best."
