AMBY Interview’s Alicia Atout was with Toni Storm recently. Storm is the current NXT UK Women’s Champion. Toni spoke about how surreal she being the champion feels to her and how she sometimes assumes that the belt is a replica.
Storm won the title back in January this year by beating Rhea Ripley at NXT Takeover: Blackpool. "Still doesn't feel real, like it's really, really weird," Storm explained. "I'll see my championship belt and I'll just assume it's one of the replica's I had when I was growing up.
I'm like 'Oh no, this is real,' and I'll go look at it. It's crazy, It'll never sink in." Then Toni started speaking about her pet peeve and how annoying she finds herself for herself. "I have so many which you know, I don't have the right to have any pet peeves because I'm the most annoying person I know," Storm said.
"Anyone that tries to cut the queue, I stop and look at them." In the interview, she stated that she feels quite beat up, due to her last match but didn’t feel anything during the match. The environment and the fans captivated her and she didn’t feel the pain.
Toni Storm might make it to the US someday and she is the most popular NXT UK female superstar in the current roster. She has a huge number of fans that always want to see her win.
