*Spoiler* Pat McAfee vs. Adam Cole set for NXT TakeOver XXX

A few days ago, several of the WWE fans will have noticed that during the interview conducted by the former NXT Champion Adam Cole, with the former football player Pat McAfee, the two came to a rather worrying face to face, with the wrestler who disassembled and threw the microphone of the studio where the ex football player held his interviews, leaving screaming, with the fans who immediately thought of a WWE work, which was not so clear and immediate.

As it turns out, that segment had really been organized around the table, with Adam Cole and Pat McAfee actually getting involved in a WWE storyline, with the football player even being invited into tonight's NXT episode, probably too.

to raise the ratings of the Wednesday night show of WWE programming.

In the episode that just ended a few hours ago of the NXT crime show, McAfee was only to play the role of honorable commentator of the evening, with the match for the tag team titles taking place in the ring and with Adam Cole he then accompanied his friends from the Undisputed Era to the ring.

After the umpteenth joke and the free insult arrived from the comment table, Adam Cole could no longer stand the nervousness and agitation and tried to jump on the comment table, coming to take the former football player with the bad guys American.

After the intervention of several WWE officials who separated the two, the unexpected happened, that is, Pat McAfee hit Adam Cole hard with a kick in the face, just in full American football style, immediately KO the former NXT absolute champion.

After the attack, Adam Cole needed ambulance transport to leave the arena, with doctors who had to keep the situation under control, monitoring the injured athlete. Apparently, WWE has thus started a feud that will not end very soon, with the vindictive spirit of Adam Cole who will probably now want a piece of McAfee served on a silver platter.

This certainly represents a stark contrast for Cole when compared to the most recent major NXT event. He successfully defended the NXT Championship against Velveteen Dream at NXT TakeOver: In Your House in June. He subsequently dropped the belt to Keith Lee on the second night of the two-week Great American Bash show.

NXT has generally eschewed this kind of angle, especially for a TakeOver show. As a result, some fans probably won't be happy to see a former football player who has never wrestled get such a prominent match.
