*Spoiler* WWE NXT Tuesday Premiere recap

Wrestlemania Week of 2021 is already a thing of the past and after the most important week of the entire year for the world of pro-wrestling, WWE immediately had to lay the foundations for its future, both in the post-Mania Raw, that in the very first episode of NXT aired on the new day of the weekly schedule, Tuesday.

In the first show that saw NXT debut on the USA Network televisions on Tuesday, WWE wanted to give an absolutely unexpected surprise to its fans, dramatically changing the owner of a title on the company's third roster, immediately after the definitive consecration of its former champion, in that of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

Karrion Kross valiantly returns as NXT Champion

Thanks to a match valid for the NXT purple belt, the Japanese WWE managed to snatch the WWE Cruiserweight title from the hands of the previous champion, Santos Escobar, who just a few days from Wrestlemania had managed to win the match for self-crowning the undisputed lightweight champion, after the return of former federation champion, Jordan Devlin, who had been absent from WWE television screens due to pandemic restrictions.

Like a bolt from the blue, Kushida managed to change the fate of the champion's roll-up, making him his own and pinning Escobar, who remained just like all the fans of the WWE Universe in connection with the CWC in Orlando, literally astonished.

and astonished by the victory of the new champion. This is, in fact, Kushida's first titled win on a WWE ring, with the Japanese starting his first reign in the yellow show ring in the most unexpected way in NXT history, right at his debut on Tuesday.

After the coronation of Raquel Gonzalez in that of the main event of the first evening of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, NXT thus acquires its new champion close to Wrestlemania, with the choice of the company that appears more paradoxical and strange than ever, given that just a week ago, the heated rivalry between the two legitimate lightweight champions ended with an important Ladder match at one of the most important stages of the year for the company's third brand.

The NXT North American Champion and NXT Women's Tag Champions retained their titles at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, and it led to an eight-person mixed tag team match on Tuesday. The Way faced off against Bronson Reed, Dexter Lumis, Shotzi Blackheart, and Ember Moon in the main event.

Also, Santos Escobar, after unifying the NXT Cruiserweight Titles, was feeling a little cocky. He'd put his gold on the line in an open challenge tonight.
