Belal Muhammad has been vocal about his future fights, he mentioned how everyone in the middleweight division sparing Khamzat Chimaev ‘sucks’. The welterweight champion expressed confidence in beating all contenders in the division including the current title holder Dricus Du Plessis.
Du Plessis wasn’t very pleased upon seeing such tweets and hearing conflicting statements. In very simple terms, he took the time to address how Belal Muhammad is more of a talker than a doer and bluntly addressed that he won’t be able to triumph or survive at 185.

Dricus Du Plessis on Facing Belal Muhammad
Recently on The Ariel Helwani Show, Dricus Du Plessis reacted to the noise created by Belal.
“Belal Muhammad, I can’t even remember the way he fights, I don’t know, has he ever finished anyone? I mean, I like how he acts as if he has a choice to ever go up to 185. The UFC will never let him. If he wanted to, he’d have to abandon his belt, give up his belt, vacate, and go up to 185, and there’s no way they give him a direct title shot.
