The top UFC lightweight contender Rafael Fiziev recently faced a unanimous decision loss against Justin Gaethje at the UFC 313 co-main event.The setback has invoked his emotions to move to featherweight. Fiziev is confident of giving the top contenders at 145 a difficult time. The reason behind such inclination is very simple, while making weight for the Gaethje rematch Fiziev realized that the weight-cutting process was fairly smooth and he hit the target quite instantaneously and because of the ease with which he made the weight cut, he feels moving to featherweight is an ideal decision to make.
It will be interesting to see how UFC reacts to this inclination and what action they take on it.

Rafael Fiziev on Moving to Featherweight
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Rafael explained why he wants to move to the 145-pound division.
“I’m thinking right now about changing weight divisions, I’m starting to think about changing weight divisions because I really cut weight very easy this time and this was short notice. It was very easy. All this week my nutritionist Jason, he tried to gain my weight because my weight go low so fast. Right now, I have to think about it”.
