Charles Oliveira recently took the time to address how he’s confident of beating Ilia Topuria. The confidence expressed by Oliveira hasn’t pleased Topuria who claims to be “the father of the entire lightweight division”.
Both fighters could lock their horns soon, Dana White confirmed that a concrete announcement will soon take place regarding Topuria’s lightweight debut. The chances of a direct title shot against Islam Makhachev are neutral. Anything could happen. Charles Oliveira is also waiting in line to get a title fight. The matchmakers have a tough decision to make, and it will be very interesting to see what ends up happening. Most of Makahcev’s opponents pull out last minute.
