The UFC middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis broke silence on the injury rumors and wants everyone to know that he did not pull out of any fight.

No official contracts were signed; Du Plessis confirms that his next fight won’t be happening in June at the international fight week.

He did not reveal the opponent but was generous enough to address how a fight announcement is right around the corner. The champion is undefeated in the UFC and has defended his hard-earned belt on two occasions – against Sean Strickland and Israel Adesanya.

Both the victories were absolutely glorious.

The expected or rumored middleweight title challenger is Khamzat Chimaev. It will be interesting to see how soon the UFC makes an official announcement. The champion could just reply to some of the rumors on twitter addressing how he isn't injured for a fight. The delayed updated provided by him played a huge role in sparking some debates.
