From GOAT to DUCK, the UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been labeled with many titles lately because of ‘avoiding’ the highly debated fight with Tom Aspinall. Fans and MMA experts have grown quite frustrated as highly demanded fights that involve Jon Jones had a negative record of not materializing.
First people wanted to see Francis Ngannou fight him (Outcome: never happened).
People then wanted to see Alex Pereira fight him (Outcome: couldn’t happen because Alex Pereira lost).
And now people are quite desperately waiting to hear an official announcement for Jones vs Aspinall but for some vague reason the clash never ends up crystallizing into a done deal.
This is Tom’s dream fight, it means a lot to him. Recently he made a statement of being ready to move on if the fight doesn’t happen.
