Israel Adesanya is ready to fight Sean Strickland for a rematch.
It appears to be a ‘reverse card’ opportunity where he can break out of his consecutive defeats and step back into the rare air of being at the top of the middleweight division.
Usually, Sean is very vocal but he hasn’t said anything significant about fighting Israel Adesanya which came as a shock to Izzy.
This potential middleweight clash could happen during the last quarter of 2025 and the winner can climb back to the top of the division.

Israel Adesanya Reacts
In a recent interview with reporters, Izzy shared his thoughts on Strickland’s unusual silence about their potential fight.
“I think he’s going through something, I haven’t really seen anything, but someone sent me a screenshot, like, ‘Oh, he’s fat now.’ I saw it and I was like, oh *. Sean’s a guy who definitely has a lot of old school stuff, trauma he has to deal with. We all go through shit. But for him, that’s easy. He should have just said something and start roasting me or whatever. That’s a Sean Strickland thing to do, but he’s been quiet”.
