Paulo Costa finally broke out of the losing streak!
He is back in the winning column after claiming a comprehensive, unanimous decision victory against Roman Kopylov.
The Brazilian fighter expressed tremendous striking and had many dominating moments. Perhaps if there were more than 3 rounds, he could have also secured a finish. Although, he locked a knockdown in the second round, but Kopylov expressed solid determination to survive.
Immediately after being announced as the winner, Paulo Costa called out the middleweight title challenger Khamzat Chimaev over personal disputes. He wants to resolve the unresolved matters inside the octagon.
It will be very interesting to see who the Brazilian fighter ends up facing next. The chances of an immediate title fight are pretty slim, 2-3 solid wins could earn him his desired opportunity.

Paulo Costa’s Post Fight Call Out
During the octagon interview, Paulo Costa took the time to call out Khamzat. The animosity between the two has been active since 2023, he looks forward to settling it as soon as possible.
“Everybody knows that I hate that guy, everybody knows who[Khamzat]. You know my wife is over here. He DM her this is not good it’s a bad thing is every culture. He say bad things about me, about her but he never sent it to me. I am gonna chase for you and I will not stop until i get you”.

‘Borz’ was quick to respond to the post-fight call out. He counteracted the accusations by tweeting the following:
