The new UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev has always been vocal about ‘money’ even during the octagon interview, he looked at Dana White and said: “Send me my money”.
His recent post-fight interview shed some light on this subject.
It’s not just for personal use; it’s also for selfless reasons - he spends a significant portion of his earnings on charitable endeavors. Very recently, he opened a gym in his village in Chechnya with the intention of providing adequate fitness/wrestling services to all the kids within.
He looks forward to maximizing the noble deeds.
To fulfil the vision, “money” will always play a crucial role. After dethroning Dricus Du Plessis, Khamzat Chmiaev looks forward to being more active as a fighter. With the immigration issues solved, he can now travel freely to the US which implies that he can fight three times a year.
The next aim is UFC Abu Dhabi in October, Dana White also waved a green flag for this timeframe.
