Professional wrestlers are usually part of a wrestling promotion, and most promotions own those wrestlers. The top promotions of the world hire wrestlers to work for their product and make their product better. The wrestlers are what make a promotion their money.
The better the shows a promotion puts out, the more money they make. In the end, professional wrestling is an occupation. As with most jobs the employee may not like where he/she is working. They may say a few things to the management which may end up getting them fired.
Younger wrestlers are often the most volatile and can get really angry if things do not go their way. Wrestling veterans like PCO were at one time inexperienced wrestlers. PCO was at one time new in the wrestling industry and he talked about how much it worked against him in a recent interview with Sportingnews.com.
“Back in the day, I would react a lot more different to how I'd handle things now, but to do that takes time and I think that's a big reason why I'm enjoying wrestling today,” stated PCO. "With age comes experience and I'm now at a point in my life where I'm wise enough to realize what I need to do to achieve success, and more importantly, to be happy”.
PCO is currently signed with Ring of Honor and is doing alright with the promotion. He had a run with the WWE, and his release was very controversial.
