Cary Silkin on Losing Superstars

Indie promotions often find it difficult to keep their most talented wrestlers with them for very long. Famous professional wrestlers receive tons of offers, and most of those offers are hard to reject. That is why, indie promotions usually lose their best wrestlers to the WWE.

The WWE is the largest wrestling promotion of the world and they generate millions of dollars every year. They can only generate millions of dollars if they hire the best wrestlers of the world. They also produce wrestlers themselves, but signing famous indie wrestlers is turned out better for them.

Cary Silkin is the current ROH Ambassador and he is used to losing wrestlers! Unfortunately, Ring of Honor cannot survive without its most loyal wrestlers. He spoke about it on the WINCLY podcast recently. "This lifeblood crew, it was perfect timing.

It goes back to when we lost Punk and Joe, and we lost Nigel and Bryan, blah, blah, blah, we lost Adam and Kyle, and Bobby and Davey, and all these guys," Silkin said. "They put a fork in us so many times, but it opens up space for new guys.

So, as much as I would love to have The Young Bucks forever, and as great as Cody was, and Daniels is a long time ROH legend, and Frankie, and all them. It just made room for new guys, and if they wouldn't have left - but at the same time, how many Bucks matches can we see?"
