A number of extremely popular and talented wrestlers still remain in Japan. In fact, some former WWE wrestlers and current stars have worked in Japan before. The WWE rehired some of its former wrestlers after they ran well in Japan.
Triple H recently came out and spoke to the media about the WWE being interested in signing female talents from Japan. Sasha Banks is one of the top female superstars in the WWE right now. She recently visited Japan and met a few Japanese wrestlers.
She posted photos of herself hanging out with the Japanese superstars. Banks was with Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling’s Reika Saiki and worked out with her. She had dinner with Naomichi Marufuji who is currently working for Pro Wrestling Noah.
She spent some time with Mina Shirakawa. Saiki wrote on her Twitter, “Can you believe it? I worked out with Sasha Banks at GOLD'S GYM. And after that, we ate sushi. Good protein and carbohydrates. I had a great time with her.
She is awesome! Thank you so much." Marufuji wrote, “I had dinner with Sasha Banks who was in Japan today. Thank you!" We do not know Banks’ status with the WWE. She tried quitting the WWE after WrestleMania 35, and since then, her future with the company has been up in the air. According to various reports, she met Vince McMahon recently to talk about her career and things are improving.
