Ember Moon is reborn when he decided to sign with the AEW and the ROH of Tony Khan, succeeding also in short to conquer the ROH Women’s World Championship to keep it for 365 days and even beyond, reaching the record for the longest reign in the history of the title, defeating athletes like Mercedes Martinez, Kiera Hogan, Willow Nightingale, Angelina Love and so on during this run.

Unfortunately, there is currently a lot of concern around her and her kingdom due to an injury that hit her in the last days of May about a month ago, with PWInsider reporting: "Athena injured her left leg last night while wrestling in ROH on WatchROH.com recording part of last night’s AEW Collision tapings, PWInsider.com learned.

You were at night, struggling with Viva Van, Athena attacked Van, who lowered herself and pulled down the central rope. Athena took a hit through the ropes and landed on the floor. When she got up, she was limping but attacked Van before pinning her."

Athena has big plans

During last night’s episode of ROH TV, with the results available on our website, Athena showed up on the internship together with Lexy Nair and Billie Starkz with crutches, claiming to have torn ligaments in one of the two ankles, which will force her to stay out of the ring for at least 6 months, but despite this she has stated that she will not give up her Ring of Honor Women’s World Championship.

At the end of 2023, during a chat with the podcast Under The Ring, Athena said: "I think my next step is definitely to redo a try on TV with AEW. My first experience around there wasn’t great and I lost to the powerful Jade Cargill.

I want to become a Triple Crown Winner by the end of 2024. I’m about to chase those belts: Julia Hart’s TBS Championship and Toni Storm’s AEW women’s title. I’m not glad I only beat up these fragile girls here and there, that’s your warning, I’m coming for you girls in 2024.

No matter what everyone says, have an X on your back and it’s only a matter of time before we get to that point."
