NJPW Announces more Entrants for Super J-Cup

NJPW announced a while back that they will be holding the Super J-Cup again this year. More names have been announced for the Super J-Cup tournament. Rocky Romero, Clark Connors, Soberano Jr, and Jonathan Gresham will be part of the tournament.

Clark Connors appeared as a LA Dojo Young Lion. The event at that time was the Fighting Spirit Unleashed. It was his debut. He was also on the G1 Climax 29 tour. He teamed up with Karl Fredericks. ROH star Jonathan Gresham, to make his in-ring NJPW debut.

He was also part of the Best Of Super Junior 2019 which was held back in February. He has a 4-5 record. Soberano Jr. will be carrying the name of CMLL at the Super J-Cup. He is currently the Mexican National Welterweight Champion.

He was a wrestler at the Super Junior Tag Tournament. His partner was Volador Junior. Rocky Romero made his return to the Best of The Super Juniors after being absent for three years. Romero is a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion.

In fact, he won that title 8 times. Amazing Red, BUSHI, YOH, Taiji Ishimori, Ryusuke Taguchi, Caristico, SHO, TJP, and Dragon Lee are also going to be part of the Super J-Cup 2019. This cup is important for a number of indie wrestlers. A person needs to beat plenty of talented wrestlers to win the cup.
