New Orleans gets No. 1 contender tournament

The semi-finals and finals for the No. 1 contender tournament will be taking place at New Orleans as announced by Ring of Honor. The event will be called Glory for Honor. The event is scheduled to take place at UNO Lakefront Arena on the 12th of October.

ROH will most likely tell who will be participating at the event this Thursday and Friday. The first round of the tournament will be taking place on September 27 at Death Before Dishonor PPV. The remaining first round matches will be held on the 28th of September at Death Before Dishonor Fallout.

This will take place at Sam's Town Live in Las Vegas. The winner of the tournament will receive a title shot and will have the right to challenge the ROH world Champion on the 13th of December in Baltimore. The event for that match will be at Final Battle, which is one of the biggest ROH events.

Tickets for the huge event go on sale next Wednesday, Sept.

4 at 10 a.m. Central for HonorClub members and Friday, Sept. 6 at 10 a.m. Central for the general public”. Ring of Honor is doing alright these days and have a small number of popular wrestlers that drive ticket sales.
