Rush and Bandido Were Not Clear for Fallout

Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor Fallout took place recently. ROH announced before the event that ROH World Champion RUSH was not cleared by the doctors to wrestle during the event. ROH did not release any details about the injury.

RUSH won the Ring of Honor World Title by defeating Matt Taven at Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor PPV event. Bandido also couldn’t wrestle during the event as he is suffering from a knee injury. ROH had to make some changes to the ROH Death Before Dishonor Fallout card due to the injuries.

Bandido was scheduled to wrestle Jay Lethal. PJ Black was the one that replaced him. This match was the first ROH Final Battle number 1 contender’s tournament. RUSH was scheduled to be Dragon Lee’s Tag Team partner and wrestle the team of PCO and Brody King.

It was turned into an ROH Six-Man Tag Team Title match. The Briscoes and Dragon Lee wrestled the team of Marty Scurll, Brody King, and PCO. Jake Atlas vs. Tyler Bateman was also added to the card to fill it up. This is not the first time we have seen a promotion make last minute changes to a card.

Injuries can even happen during training and promotions must be ready at all times to make the changes required to keep the show running. Injuries even take place during a match which can result in a technical knockout.
