Ring of Honor produced some high-quality wrestlers in the past. CM Punk is one of the wrestlers that came out of ROH. There are many others that are now popular WWE wrestlers. ROH does not have popular wrestlers with them now, but they still have a good fan base.
PJ Black is one of the popular ROH wrestlers that recently re-signed with the company. While most wrestlers moved away after getting popular, Black decided to stay. He spoke to Wrestling Epicenter about signing the multi-year deal with ROH.
He revealed that Marty Scrull was not one of the reasons why he re-signed though. He simply re-signed because ROH offered everything that he asked for. "There was a few factors involved," Black began. "For the first time in my life, I think, I made a pros and cons list.
I had some other offers on the table, but ROH just gave me everything I wanted—a really good deal with a really good schedule. I also saw that guys like Marty [Scurll], The Briscoes, Bandido, and Flip [Gordon] and all these big names re-signed.
So, I feel like it is going to be a big, big, big year for Ring of Honor!" He then went on to talk about Marty and whether he had anything to do with him re-signing. "That didn't play a factor," Black confirmed.
"I didn't know he had it until after the fact. I knew from talking to him a while ago that is what he really wanted, but I didn't know that he was going to get it. I'm very happy for him”.
