Many famous professional wrestlers choose to leave their smaller indie promotions for a bigger one as soon as they receive an offer. Indie promotions usually cannot pay their wrestlers as well as the bigger promotions. Some wrestlers simply leave an indie promotion for another indie promotion, especially if they do not like the management of their current one.
Shane Taylor just revealed that he is sticking with Ring of Honor and will continue to work for them for the foreseeable future. Shane Taylor is a very famous ROH superstar and is regularly used by the promotion. He has also fought some of the best ROH stars during his career in ROH.
He announced that he re-signed during the ROH Free Enterprise event. His announcement came after he finished his attack on Slex. He also revealed on Twitter that his new contract will also allow him to challenge the ROH World Champion as well as the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship.
Winning these titles will elevate him further in the world of professional wrestling. His full tweet: "Every demand met! Pen to paper done! The partnership between @ringofhonor & #ShaneTaylorPromotions isn't going to end anytime soon!!
- Highest single per fight deal - Guaranteed 6 man title shot (@thekaun @ProlificMoses)- Guaranteed World Championship shot." Many popular ROH stars left the promotion last year. Shane Taylor is one of the only stars that can still draw a large crowd for the promotion.
