AEW Officials Talk About Exclusive Contracts

All Elite Wrestling is a brand new indie wrestling promotion. The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes are the front men for the company. They recently held a rally called Double or Nothing, during which they announced their roster. They held the rally at Jacksonville very close to a building where Smackdown Live was taking place.

After the press conference some official from All Elite Wrestling had a Q and A Session. One of the questions that they answered was concerning how exclusive some of their contracts are. "I can actually confirm that Joey will be able to do his Spring Break shows," said Cody, Executive Vice President of AEW.

"Chris will be able to do his cruise." This basically means that these wrestlers will be able to work for other promotions if they wish. "The idea for us is to be friendly with a lot of people," stated Brandi, Chief Brand Officer of AEW.

"We definitely don't want to shut doors – there's no reason too. We like a lot of people." Cody also stated that he has a lot invested in AEW. He admitted that he and Brandi have put everything that they had in AEW.

"For me and for [Brandi], this is it though," said Cody. "I looked at [my AEW contract] the other day. It's more years than any WWE contract I signed and I know why. I'm committing my life to this and so much is happening that I forget to remind myself of that."
