Wrestling legend pays tribute to Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar's contract with WWE expired in August 2020, shortly after playing his last match against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36. Prior to his official farewell, the Beast's merchandise had already been removed from WWEShop.com, which was a good indication that the two sides would split.

Many are wondering if the former Universal Champion will make his return to the ring in the near future, perhaps when the effects of the pandemic are now a distant memory. In a recent interview with 'The Hannibal TV', wrestling legend Tom Prichard praised Lesnar's extraordinary skills, despite the latter having often received criticism for his attitude during his long militancy in WWE.

Prichard also spent fine words for another much-discussed superstar, namely Roman Reigns.

Tom Prichard praises Brock Lesnar

“Well, at the moment I'm struggling to find a superior performer than Brock Lesnar. Maybe I'll put Roman Reigns next to him.

Brock is fantastic because his character is authentic, the same goes for Roman, even if it took him a little longer to show his true personality. I believe the Beast is still a step above, as Lesnar is the only one capable of eliciting a very strong reaction from the WWE Universe.

When Brock enters the ring he conveys a feeling of unpredictability, as well as possessing physical skills that are unmatched at the moment. No matter what his mood is about him that day, he will do whatever he wants. Even though he is now out of the wrestling world, he remains the best superstar ever for me.

After him comes Roman Reigns. He is probably not on the same level, but we must also consider that they have different characteristics. What is still missing in Reigns? Maybe a bit of unpredictability. With him you always know more or less what will happen,” Tom Prichard analyzed.

As many insiders had predicted, the turn heel allowed the former Shield member to explode for good. Speaking to Boston Wrestling MWF’s Dan Mirade, John Cena’s father was asked about the possibility of Bobby Lashley vs.

Brock Lesnar headlining WrestleMania 38 in 2022. Cena Sr. gave his opinion that fans are unlikely to pay money to see that match in the main event. “Lashley and Lesnar, you know, two MMA guys,” Cena Sr. said. “The question becomes, ‘Who’s gonna go over [win]? Who’s gonna do the job [lose]?’ I’m not sure the crowd would really pay for that.

I think whatever the [WrestleMania 38 main event] storyline is, it’s gotta be bigger than anything," Cena Sr. added. "The prize has gotta be the biggest prize they’ve ever offered, and put those two men or women in that ring… You do that and I think you’re gonna have a successful WrestleMania. Do something different. Do something the fans never expected”.
