Sean Waltman Speaks About John Cena’s Career in WWE

Sean Waltman is a former member of D’Generation X, and he recently spoke about John Cena’s WWE career. John Cena was the face of WWE for a really long time and he won countless titles during his WWE career. However, he left the WWE after he started his Hollywood career.

Sean spoke about John Cena’s rumored Smackdown return. John would most likely go on tour with WWE if this rumor is true. He spoke about this on Wrestling Inc.

Sean Waltman on How WWE Should Use John Cena If He Returns

“Whenever he’s been around, it seems like he’s been trying to help out and help elevate others,” Waltman noted.

“He’s such a hard worker. The matches are always really good when he’s in them. Let’s just be honest, whether you’re a John Cena fan or not. I’m a fan of his. I’m a fan of his work ethic, and I’m a fan of his matches”.

According to Sean, WWE should use John Cena to further elevate WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. “I think it would be a great use of him,” Sean stated. “I just think that would be a very meaningful win”.

Sean also spoke about NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed. Sean met Reed during an Australian tour. “He’s the WWE NXT North American champion because he’s really good at what he does, and he’s made a really good impression on all the right people.

He made a really good impression on me,” Waltman recalled. “I knew him from a tour in Australia, and he was over there when I was there. Just one of those really really likable guys. That really helps because there’s a lot of really really talented people in the ring and so extra things like being a decent human being kind of makes a difference when you have that many guys that are all really good”.

Sean Waltman was an integral part of D’Generation X along with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg. They are all WWE Hall of Famers now. Sean is also a former part of NWO, after the NWO joined WWE. Sean retired many years ago, however, he has still kept himself quite relevant by having his own podcast.
