There is still a long time to go until the next WWE Pay Per View of Hell in A Cell and on 31st May, in the last episode of Monday Night Raw, an important Main Event was staged. The red show saw as the main match the meeting between The Scottish Psychopath Drew McIntyre and New Day member Kofi Kingston with the winner who thus earned the chance to become the #1 Contender of the WWE Champion for the Pay per View of Hell in A Cell.
The match had an epilogue and thus officially sanctioned who will be Bobby Lashley's opponent in Pay Per View.
An official match has been announced for Hell In A Cell
The match for the # 1 Contender saw the victory of Drew McIntyre who thus earned the opportunity to go once again against the champion thus bringing yet another rematch of the match that we have seen several times recently and which has seen these two athletes also protagonists in the opening match in the Pay per View of Wrestlemania 37.
The challenge was quite close with Drew McIntyre starting well, but Kofi looking very active, reacting to opponent attacks and also close to closing with a near three count. In the end, the former WWE Champion got the better of winning success with Claymore.
At the end of the match, the two wrestlers respected each other and shook hands for the match just ended while outside Bobby Lashley, along with MVP, watched in a mix of anger and concern. Having won the title at Wrestlemania 36 for the first time in his career against Brock Lesnar, The Scottish Psychopath has always played a leading role on Monday Night Raw where he alternated in the role of champion or challenger to champion.
There were really many encounters between the two on Raw and it seems likely that the Hell in A Cell match could be in one way or another the epilogue of the almost interminable challenge between the two strong wrestlers.
