The sudden and in some ways disconcerting announcement of the new WWE layoffs could not fail to generate immediate consequences, given that two of them in particular concern absolute stars of the company's main roster.
However, if Adam Scherr (as we will have to get used to calling Braun Strowman) in the immediate hours after his unexpected release decided not to intervene on his official channels, the one who moved with great timing was Aleister Black.
The talented Dutch fighter has in fact decided to almost immediately change his name on Twitter, returning to Tommy End, the name that characterized his many appearances in the ring before the engagement by the WWE (the same, however, has not yet happened for his handle, which is still @WWEAleister).
"I'm gathering my thoughts as this was a complete left field for me as obviously we just started the dark father character but this was it, thank you so much WWE universe for allowing me to create and give you small bits of myself," explained the Dutch athlete in his post.
Aleister Black and his previous post on IG
In another post dating back to just over a week, this time published on Instagram, Aleister Black had carried on that storyline with Big E that had just been created in SmackDown and which was so brutally interrupted, with his sacking.
"It's a New Day, yes it is!", He'd said (blatantly making fun of the most famous phrase of the trio that contributed to the explosion of the Big E itself). In short, Aleister Black had wanted to launch yet another dig at his most recent opponent, Big E, with whom he'd to have opened a truly-felt feud and on which the fans had so many hopes pinned on.
But in the meantime that "It's a new day, yes it is" takes on a much more different meaning. And considerably more bitter.
