The sensational news that shocked the world of WWE and the whole world of wrestling, in general, was the removal of several names from the company's main roster. The main professional wrestling federation, for the umpteenth time, released some of the wrestlers on the main roster but this time the decision was even stronger as to be released were some prominent wrestlers or almost completely upset the wrestling fans.
During the Hall of Fame podcast, the former WWE superstar Booker T company dealt with many topics and also revealed where he would see Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy, two-level superstars who, from one day to the next, find themselves without federation.
The former WWE champion spoke about the two wrestlers released.
Booker T's words on WWE releases
About Aleister Black, he said, "Aleister Black fits perfectly with the style of New Japan Pro Wrestling, in that federation talent is the basis of everything and is enabled to play its role.
Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy in Japan, I think both of these guys will do very well where wrestling in particular, it's different wrestling than WWE, it's totally different. I think of the Young Bucks in the past, the Bullet Club and much more, these two would be perfect for New Japan Pro Wrestling."
Booker T also spoke of Braun Strowman's farewell and clarified that in his opinion he would not be suitable for the Japanese company. Speaking about why the Stamford-based company released The Monster Among Us, Booker T commented: "When I read it I was very surprised, then I started looking at it commercially and in fact, he had a very expensive contract and on both sides, he was making a lot of money.
Without taking anything away from the wrestler but we can understand for this reason the decision of the federation which preferred to try to reduce costs."
