During the last weeks of Friday Night Smackdown, we have seen the interesting evolution regarding the Tribal Chief and Universal Champion WWE Roman Reigns and the Usos, composed by the younger cousin Jey Uso and his twin Jimmy who, after months away from the ring due to a serious leg injury, in recent weeks he returned to the blue show ring.
While the former now seems to a mentee and increasingly influenced by the Tribal Chief, Jimmy has appeared increasingly reluctant to follow the ideas of the champion. The two have had verbal clashes over the last few weeks and the situation now seems on the verge of exploding.
The conclusion of the last Smackdown also seems to have closed to any armistice between the parties with Jey Uso who seems at the moment divided between the two fires.
The tweet from R-Truth about Roman Reigns' confusion
In the last episode of Friday Night Smackdown that aired on 4th June, we witnessed a match for the couple title between Usos and Mysterios, the Tag Team champions made up of Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik.
In the last episode of the blue show, we saw the Mysterios beat the Usos at the beginning of the episode and, although in evident referee error it disadvantaged the latter, this made WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns go on a rampage.
During the episode, a particular segment took place where Roman angry was referring to Jimmy Uso attacking him for defeat but in reality, he was talking to the latter's twin Jey Uso thus confusing the two of them. When Jey Uso pointed this out, Roman reacted by stating: "The way things are going, does it matter anyway?" WWE reposted this segment on Fox's official Instagram handle and the clip was commented with a lot of fun by WWE star R-Truth.
He is one of the most loved superstars by the public and in addition to winning the 24/7 Championship several times over the course of his career, he has often delighted the WWE Universe with fun segments:
