WWE legend pays tribute to Brock Lesnar

He has been absent from the WWE rings since the now distant Wrestlemania 36, but in recent times we continue to talk about Brock Lesnar, one of the most acclaimed wrestlers in the history of the last two decades of WWE. When we talk about The Beast Incarnate we are probably dealing with one of the last characters who even outside the ring and away from wrestling best embodies his role in storylines.

So among WWE Universe fans, there is a lot of curiosity about what Brock Lesnar was like outside the scene of Vince McMahon's company.

Kurt Angle opens up on Brock Lesnar

During a recent episode of the Kurt Angle Show on AdFreeShows.com, the Olympic champion most appreciated by WWE fans talked about an episode that took place backstage way back in 2005-2006.

The podcast specifically discussed the ECW One Night Stand 2006 event and the stories from that era. Here are his statements regarding the Olympic gold medal: "My circle of friends was made up of Big Show, Team Angle made up of Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, Big Show and Brock Lesnar.

These were my best friends and I have to say that I spent most of my time with them." Although Brock Lesnar left WWE for a time in 2004, Kurt Angle maintained a close friendship with his opponent in the ring and the two after Angle's departure in 2006 at WWE continued together fighting at high levels in Japan for the IWGP title.

Angle stated that Brock Lesnar is not a very social person and the two see each other directly when it happens. During the last episode of Friday Night Smackdown, the WWE technical department made a serious mistake when, during the presentation of Bayley, a sensational 'WWE Champion Brock Lesnar' came out of the graphics that made fans roll their eyes, live from home.

The usual rumors were born on social networks even if at the moment we reiterate there does not seem to be anything concrete. Brock Lesnar has been away from WWE TV since WrestleMania 36, and rumors of his highly-anticipated comeback have been running rampant over the past few months.

The latest update regarding the Beast's SummerSlam status has complicated matters, but most fans expect to see the 43-year-old superstar at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium in August. Kurt Angle added that Brock Lesnar is not too keen on frequently catching up with people.

The WWE Hall of Famer stated that you'd be greeted to the answering machine nine times out of then when you dial Brock Lesnar's number.
