In the last few hours, within the WWE circles, there have been several program changes and several upheavals in the face, mainly due to Bayley's departure from the scene for his major leg injury remedied during one of his last workouts.
During the Friday Night Smackdown episode aired in the night, WWE, therefore, had to pull the strings of several storylines, also because the live audience will return from next week, with the return on the road of the company and the federation will therefore have to be ready for the event.
As we have amply reported in the past few hours, Carmella will replace Bayley in the challenge titled Money in the Bank, which in the meantime has been brought forward to the episode of Smackdown next week, while at Money in the Bank, we will see Liv Morgan go to replace Carmella, in that place that was ultimately left empty after moving the blonde in the titled round of the blue show.
In addition to talking about the female category, however, at Smackdown a little more light was shed on the male category, especially on the part that will take part in the Money in the Bank Ladder match of the homonymous PPV and that this night saw still some very important qualifying matches.
Two names added to the men's Money In The Bank
As announced last week, Seth Rollins, Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura and Baron Corbin would have competed for two of the still vacant seats for the match with the stairs, with these two disputes that went on stage as promised by the WWE without a hitch.
The two matches were won by the King of Strong Style and the WWE Messiah, thus beating Corbin and Cesaro respectively and thus entering the most anticipated match of the entire next match of the federation. So let's see what are currently the matches announced for the event that will air next week, Sunday 18 July: - WWE Universal Title match: Roman Reigns vs Edge - WWE Title match: Bobby Lashley vs Kofi Kingston - Raw Women's Title match: Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair - Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match: Ricochet vs John Morrison vs Riddle vs Big E vs Kevin Owens vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Seth Rollins - Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match: Asuka vs Naomi vs Nikki Cross vs Alexa Bliss vs Liv Morgan vs Zelina Vega.
Seth Rollins has previously mentioned that he has no desire to work with Riddle. They were both in the men's Survivor Series elimination match but did not share the ring because the 'Savior of SmackDown' was eliminated early. He went on paternity leave from WWE after the event, as Lynch gave birth to their daughter a few weeks later.
