There is great anticipation in WWE and from the WWE Universe for the next moves of Vince McMahon's company. After a long stop with the federation almost always engaged between Performance Center and ThunderDome, the public finally returns to the next events and there is suspense for the next Pay Per View WWE of Money in the Bank.
The show will be full of interesting matches and the latest updates do not exclude surprise returns that could upset the situation within the dynamics of the main wrestling company in the world. Roman Reigns will have to defend the title from attacks from Rated-R Superstar Edge while WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will defend the title from New Day member Kofi Kingston.
The most important matches in this show, however, are the Male and Female Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, events that will allow one of the 8 participants to conquer the briefcase, useful in the future to win the WWE title.
Money in the Bank 2021 is just hours away
Participants in this year's Money in the Bank Ladder Match are Matt Riddle, Seth Rollins, Big E, Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, King Nakamura, John Morrison and Kevin Owens. A formation this year of the highest caliber and according to the latest rumors the big favorite for the final victory of the briefcase this year is Big E with the company that, apparently, finally wants to give the black wrestler the big chance.
For several months the WWE seems to want to launch Big E as champion but in reality the situation sees the wrestler instead in a stalemate that in recent weeks has even led him to a sort of decline. Vince Russo himself spoke about the Big E situation and stated: "A very important aspect for any superstar is the momentum he receives.
The anticipation continues to grow week after week and he is doing his best to show off but no one really thinks WWE is going to bring Big E to champion. That's the problem, people don't really believe in it and that's why we need an important momentum for him."
Last Monday’s episode of RAW marked the end of the ThunderDome era as WWE got ready to hit the road again, starting with SmackDown this Friday. The Money in the Bank pay-per-view will also take place in front of a live audience and it looks like WWE could have a few surprises planned for the night.
According to a recent report from WrestleVotes on Twitter, the company has “cool and exciting” things planned for Sunday’s event and they told fans to expect some surprises on the night: "With the ThunderDome officially behind them, source states that WWE has some cool & exciting things planned for this weekend….. Expect a surprise or two. Truly a pivotal time in recent WWE history," stated WrestleVotes.
