WWE is firing all of its cartridges ahead of Summerslam and the airing of Money in the Bank on Sunday, and Monday Night Raw are proof of this. After a sensational PPV like the one on Sunday, which ended with the equally sensational return of John Cena, greeted by an ovation from the fans of the WWE Universe, tonight a truly phenomenal episode of the red show was aired on the TV screens of USA Network, which saw a myriad of surprises leaving fans with their eyes and mouth open.
After seeing the return of John Cena, who openly challenged the Universal champion of Smackdown, Roman Reigns, to a match titled for Summerslam and after seeing the surprising returns of Keith Lee and Bill Goldberg, both gone face to face with WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, there was also ample space for women in Raw, with a very important event that ended the evening dedicated to the red show.
WWE RAW may have had its shares of ups and downs but it did end on a positive note. Nikki A.S.H. cashed in her Money in the Bank contract and she is your brand new WWE RAW Women's Champion. Sure, some may believe that it's far too soon for her to win the WWE RAW Women's Championship, but anything that freshens up the division is a positive.
Nikki A.S.H is your brand new WWE RAW Women's Champion
After winning the Money in the Bank Ladder match of the homonymous ppv, Nikki A.S.H. did not think too much about it and thought it best to cash in his briefcase on the Raw final, going to take possession of the title of Charlotte Flair, just won in that of Money in the Bank.
But let's go step by step. Immediately after a promo between the two ppv challengers, a rematch of Money in the Bank was set, where Charlotte put her title up for grabs against Rhea Ripley, with the dispute that soon ended due to disqualification, due to conduct not permitted by the daughter of the Nature Boy, who struck her now bitter enemy with her belt.
After recovering, Ripley attacked Charlotte Flair until she was knocked out and that's where Nikki A.S.H came into play, who cashing in her briefcase with the titled Money in the Bank opportunity inside, hit Charlotte with a Cross Body, pinning the champion.
In four and four, Nikki A.S.H has thus graduated as the new world champion of Monday Night Raw, with Rhea Ripley that not having been defeated by pinfall from her rematch, she could have remained in the title round with Charlotte Flair.
