One of the latest purchases made by All Elite Wrestling, as well as one of the last great losses of the WWE, responds to the name of Aleister Black who now performs in the Dynamite rings under the ring name Malakai Black, after having surprised all the fans of the WWE Universe by showing up well before the 90 days of a non-competition clause that the federation usually has with its releases.
The problem, this time, is to be found in a lack of the WWE, with the leaders of the federation who have in fact forgotten to modify his contract once he has been on the main roster, bringing the 30-day non-competition clause (like all athletes of NXT) at 90, like all those on the main roster.
After just over a month from his release, in fact, Aleister Black was able to make his debut on the TNT television screens, in an All Elite Wrestling ring. During the stream, the former NXT Champion revealed that there were plans for him to win the United States Championship but Vince McMahon canceled it because he didn't want him to have his first title win in front of no fans.
Aleister Black on Vince McMahon
In his latest interview on The Wrestling Perspective Podcast, Malakai Black wanted to tell a rather hilarious anecdote, when he revealed his encounter with Vince McMahon in last year's edition of Money in the Bank, in which Vince introduced himself in jeans, unlike all the other occasions when it comes with the usual very elegant dress.
Regarding this situation, Aleister Black has indeed revealed: "I think it had something to do with the fact that it was a really busy day for him. And he was feeling a little dazed by all that work and so I guess he thought, 'Hey, well, I'm in the middle of all this hustle and bustle, so today I don't want to be too formal.'
I mean he always came in his usual suit, he seemed always so elegant, always well dressed. But that day he was wearing jeans and certainly no one expected it, least of all me. I remember telling him 'jeans sir?' and he 'ugh, it's one of those days.'
" During the Twitch stream, Aleister Black also spoke about his relationship with Vince McMahon. He claimed that he had a good relationship with the WWE Chairman and was always praised for his creativity and manners. "In all my conversations I've had with Vince, he was very positive about me.
I have a good relationship with Vince. I always told him how I felt. He always respected that about me and he always praised me on my creativity and my ability to have manners and respect but still being honest with him about how I felt," said Aleister Black.
