WWE is building towards a rivalry between The RK-Bros and the RAW Tag Team Champions. Randy Orton will need to return soon if the creative team is heading in that direction for WWE SummerSlam. WWE could be returning to Saudi Arabia with live events as soon as October 2021.

Moreover, WWE has a contract with Saudi General Sports Authority where it’s supposed to run two events every year for a ten-year span. WWE signed the deal in 2018. The last WWE event in Saudi Arabia was the 2020 Super ShowDown.

Following that, the COVID-19 pandemic forced a global lockdown which resulted in travel restrictions and the cancellation of all types of sporting events.
