John Cena discusses The Rock's current status

During WWE's latest Pay Per View, Money in the Bank John Cena made his comeback. The wrestler intervened at the end of the match between Roman Reigns and Edge, declaring a challenge to the Tribal Chief and WWE Universal Champion.

In the course of the last episode of Friday Night Smackdown, however, we saw how Roman Reigns did not consider Cena worthy to accept the challenge and instead accepted a fight for the title to Finn Balor. The future plans of the WWE are not known but one of the hypotheses being examined is that of a Triple Threat Match that sees the two of them and Cena engaged in the ring.

In addition to John Cena, another superstar who could return to WWE is The People's Champion The Rock. There has been discussion for some time about a possible return of the now well-known actor in the company and many speak of a possible return even as an appearance of The Rock at the Survivor Series, precisely on the 25th anniversary of the legendary wrestler's debut in the company of Vince McMahon.

John Cena opens up on The Rock

Speaking at ETOnline John Cena spoke to promote his new movie 'The Suicide Squad' and at the same time discussed the possibility of seeing The Rock again in WWE. Here are his words: "Dwayne Johnson is now a star of his universe.

There is no one and there will be no one like him, it would be really nice to see him again in WWE. We are talking about a global entertainment star and it would be great news. even for WWE itself. As a fan of the company, I really hope he returns."

Recently, The Rock, however, curbed these rumors by stating that in reality there is nothing in the pipeline regarding his possible return to WWE. The dream of WWE fans and a rumor that many think about is a possible meeting titled valid as the Wrestlemania 38 Main Event between the current champion Roman Reigns and The Rock, a challenge that could make the legend of this sport business.

While The Rock has denied reports of him returning to WWE later this year, it may prove to be a red herring. Reports have stated that the 10-time WWE World Champion will return at Survivor Series this November, which will be the 25th anniversary of his debut in the company.

The Rock also seems to be a big part of WWE's plans for WrestleMania 38. Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast has claimed that the company is looking to book The Great One against his cousin, Roman Reigns, at next year's Show of Shows.
